Object Description
In Giessen Nieuwkerk staat een coöperatieve diepvrieskluis met 40
koelkasten van elk 200 liter, die 40 families voor 60 gulden per jaar
kunnen huren. Verder beelden van het pekelen van vlees wordt in een
pekelkuip, weckpotten in een kelder en het opbergen van groente, fruit
en vlees in plastic.
Description (English)
In Giessen Nieuwkerk there is a cooperative freezer with 40 freezers of
200 liters each that can be rented by 40 families for 60 guilders a
year. Also footage of the pickling of the meat in a pickle bath,
preserving jars in a cellar, the storing of vegetables, fruit and meat
in plastic.
