iCat onderzoek aan de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven
Object Description
Verschillende vakgroepen van de Technische Universiteit Eindhoven droegen bij aan het iCat onderzoek. De vakgroep Psychology of Human-Technology Interaction (IE&IS) onderzocht iCat´s ideale persoonlijkheid. De vakgroep Designed Intelligence (ID) onderzocht de wisselwerking tussen de robot-kat en kinderen. Op verschillende universiteiten in Europa werden in uiteenlopende proefopstellingen onderzoeken gedaan naar de reacties van mensen op de verbale expressies van de iCat.

Several departments at Eindhoven University of Technology participated in the iCat research.’The department Psychology of Human-Technology Interaction (IE&IS) researched iCat’s ideal personality, whereas Designed Intelligence (ID) focused on the interaction between the robot cat and children. A number of other European universities conducted studies with various test set ups to study people's reactions on the verbal expressions of the iCat.
