Deze foto is gemaakt in het huis van de Oostenrijks-Nederlandse natuur- en wiskundige Paul Ehrenfest in de Witte Rozenstraat te Leiden, waar Einstein vaak logeerde. Museum Boerhaave kreeg de foto van Miss Helen Dukas, zij was de secretaresse van Einstein in Princeton.

This picture of Einstein was taken in the home of Austrian and Dutch physicist and mathematician Paul Ehrenfest in the Witte Ronzenstraat in Leiden, where Einstein often stayed. Miss Helen Dukas, Einstein’s secretary at Princeton, offered Museum Boerhaave the image.
